How Much Does Plastic Surgery Cost?

Plastic surgery is not cheap. Or should we say well done plastic surgery is not cheap? We can all spot poorly done plastic surgery, but well done plastic surgery can be inconspicuous. Our goals are for a refreshed look without looking ‘done’.  We encourage our patients to research the costs of the procedures they are interested in  and while price is a consideration, it should not be the main consideration in the decision whether to have plastic surgery or not.

At Gayoso Plastic Surgery, we work hard to keep our fees competitive with other practices in the area. Despite our advice, we do know that cost can be a decider for some people, and we would rather not have anyone get inferior care just because it is cheaper.

Despite our best efforts, plastic surgery can be expensive, and before deciding to commit to a procedure it is important to honestly evaluate your finances to ensure that your plastic surgery will not put an undue burden on your personal finances. It is for this reason that your consultation with St Petersburg plastic surgeons, Dr. Antonio J. Gayoso and Dr. Frank Beninger,  will be followed by a consultation with our patient coordinator, who will talk to you about the cost of the procedure and give you some financial counseling on how to fit the cost into your budget. She will also talk to you about our financing options.

Value in Plastic Surgery

One place where price does become an issue is in deciding between different procedures. However, it is important to take into account not just the cost, but also the value you get from different procedures. For example, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections may seem like a bargain compared to a browlift, but when you consider that the browlift will give you wider-reaching results as well as results that will last for years, as opposed to months for BOTOX® injections, the browlift may be the better value, especially when financing may make your individual payments comparable to BOTOX® retreatments. On the other hand, if you don’t need the full range of results that a browlift provides, BOTOX® may actually be the better value for you.
